Clearfield Machine Company, founded in 1868, is a large Grey and Ductile Iron foundry and machine shop. Our molders are specialists in floor molding of no-bake sand castings up to 18,000 pounds. Quantities range from a single or prototype casting to medium production runs. Pattern equipment may be loose, mounted, wood, metal or full mold foam patterns.
Our modern machine shop, while directly affiliated, is mostly operated in a separate building to further assure quality control. Many of our customers find that it is more economical and faster to have us deliver a finished part or product. Turnings are re-melted and any potential defects may be discovered before shipping, thus resulting in very substantial savings for our customers. Finished parts are provided with single source responsibility, thus eliminating machining scrap/defect costs and delays.
Clearfield Machine Company is a quality-oriented company offering very competitive prices, fast turn around and prompt, reliable response. Our pattern services include repair, modifications and new fabrication. Secure, dry warehousing is available to store your valuable pattern equipment.
We would appreciate any opportunity to provide quotations for your castings and machining requirements.
